Week One: God’s Creation Shows His Glory
Bible Focus
Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
Fall is a season full of beauty with changing leaves, crisp mornings, and beautiful sunsets. These glimpses of creation are more than just pretty scenery. They are reminders that God is powerful, creative, and worthy of our praise. Psalm 19:1 tells us that the sky itself proclaims His handiwork. When we slow down and look around, creation points us to the glory of its Creator.
David, the author of Psalm 19, reminds us that nature is like a beautifully painted canvas pointing to God. The stars, the mountains, the oceans, and the colorful trees are all shouting out, Look at how great God is! Even without words, creation speaks about God’s majesty and power. This helps us remember that our lives, too, should reflect His glory—just like the heavens do.

God, thank You for the beauty of the sky and the world You made. When we look at the sun, the moon, the stars, and the clouds, remind us that they all show how great You are. Help our family to praise You for Your handiwork and to live in a way that gives You glory. Amen.
